Pahibalo is Cebuano for "notice" or "announcement". It is a free service from Cebu that alerts you to scheduled brownouts and water interruptions in the barangays you care about.
Why we built it
Scheduled interruptions are announced, but the notices are spread across different websites and Facebook pages, and most people only find out when the lights or taps go off. We wanted one place that watches every source and tells you in time to prepare.
How we work
- Independent. We are not affiliated with any utility. Every alert links to the official advisory, which always has the final word.
- Checked by a person. Each notice is reviewed before an alert goes out.
- Private by default. No account, name, email or phone number is needed for alerts.
- Free for households. Always.
