These terms apply to the website at pahibalo.com and the Pahibalo alert service ("Pahibalo", "we", "us"). By using them, you agree to these terms.
1. What Pahibalo does
Pahibalo sends notifications about power and water interruptions that utilities in Cebu announce. Pahibalo is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for any utility.
2. Information is provided as is
We work to make alerts accurate and timely, but we depend on what utilities publish and on notification services we do not control. Alerts may be late, incomplete, changed or not delivered. Always check the utility's official advisory, which has the final word. Do not rely on Pahibalo where a missed or wrong alert could cause injury, loss of life or serious loss, for example for life-support or medical equipment.
3. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Pahibalo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or alerts, including loss caused by an interruption, a late or missing alert, or an error in an alert.
4. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, including by interfering with its operation, sending automated requests in bulk, or attempting to access data that is not yours.
5. Content and names
Utility names are used only to identify the source of an advisory. The Pahibalo name, logo and website content belong to Pahibalo.
6. Privacy
How we handle personal information is explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use Pahibalo after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.
